Lady Tigers top Black Rock

BLACK ROCK -- The Armorel Lady Tigers received a combined 37 points from Alexis Betts and Madison Carr on their way to a 48-33 win over the Black Rock Lady Zebras Thursday night. Betts led all scorers with 20 points and five assists. Carr chipped in 17, grabbed seven rebounds, dished out six assists and made seven steals. Armorel out-rebounded the Lady Zebras, 35-18 and held them to just 30 percent shooting from the field (9-30)...

JONESBORO -- For a little more than three periods Tuesday night, the Blytheville Chickasaws continued their strong play from Friday night's win at Wynne. Harold Beverly's bucket with four seconds left in the third gave the Chicks a 10-point lead over the host Nettleton Raiders at 39-29 heading into the fourth. Beverly's bucket would be the last score for the Chicks until the 3:30 mark in the fourth as Nettleton stormed back and pulled out a 45-44 win at Raider Gym...
