Tigers earn chance to defend their state title

TAYLOR -- The Armorel Tigers will get a chance to defend their 1A state title Saturday in Fayetteville thanks to an 8-7 extra inning win over the Trinity Christian Warriors in the 1A state semifinals Saturday afternoon at Taylor. Ryan Sullivan's walk-off hit to right field with one out in the bottom of the eighth inning scored Hunter Myers and punched the Tigers ticket to Baum Stadium next Saturday at the University of Arkansas...
Construction zones: Something to feel good about
Campuses were always under construction during college visits. There would be sidewalks torn up, streets blocked off and buildings being assembled and remodeled. Tour guides would always complain loudly about the construction
Not seeing it does not mean it is not so
A number of years ago, my ex-husband's mother died. This in itself was not unusual, although she was fairly young, in her early 60s. What was notable was that it was only two days before she passed, after she had been in a coma for weeks, when she was finally diagnosed with something she knew she had for most of her life: Lupus.

I've always been a person who likes to read. Actually that's a bit of an understatement. I've always been a person who likes to obsessively read, is more like it. Luckily, these days, being a nerd isn't so much of a bad thing as it was when I was in high school.
